About Lisa

Lisa Lacey is the owner of Joyful Journeys®. She founded Joyful Journeys in 2005 as a one-woman operation based on her love of travel and a strong conviction that details matter. Since that time, Lisa has helped thousands of couples and families enjoy amazing vacations that truly add joy to their lives (and live up to the agency name!).

Lisa continues to design vacations for long-time clients, but much of her work efforts are now dedicated to managing agency operations and mentoring the growing number of Vacation Designers that make up the Joyful Journeys team.

Outside of work, Lisa is married to her high school sweetheart, Edward. They have two adult sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law, and 2 fun-loving grandchildren… all of whom enjoy traveling as much as Lisa does!

A trained musician (Bachelor of Music, Berry College ’87), Lisa has spent years listening, not just hearing, and she uses that skill to understand what is important for your vacation. Lisa applies her creativity, attention to detail, and desire for excellence to every aspect of Joyful Journeys. Her goal is an exceptional, memorable, and inspiring vacation experience for you and your family – one that makes your hearts sing!
