About Gretchen

Hi! I’m Gretchen. I’m a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and mom to 4 amazing kiddos that range in age from elementary school to high school. My husband, Tom, is still on Active Duty with the AF. As a military family, we’ve moved 7+ times since we were married in 2005, to include an overseas assignment in England. While in England, we had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe to include England, Scotland, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Greece and Turkey. Coming in a close second was our assignment in Tampa and our endless trips to Walt Disney World.

My grandparents started taking my sister and I on trips when we were young. We traveled to Australia/New Zealand, took a cross-country trip on Amtrak, and cruised throughout the Caribbean and Mexican Riviera. While the trips were amazing, I cherish the time we spent together the most.

I know finding time to plan a vacation can be tough. Life gets busy. I get it! However, I also know that unplugging and reconnecting with family and friends is too important to end up at the bottom of a to-do list. I became a Vacation Designer to take care of the vacation planning so families can focus on what’s really important–making lifelong memories together.
