About Julie

I’m Julie Gheesling. I am a 2005 graduate of the University of Georgia. I have been married to my husband Russell since June of 2005 and we have two amazing kids, one boy and one girl, each with their own travel goals to see all 50 states before their 18th birthdays. I enjoy cooking, traveling, planning parties, and reading. I’m also a reluctant runner who will run 5ks, 10ks, and even half-marathons if it means I get to go to Disney to do it! I have lived in Georgia, Wyoming, Ohio, Virginia, England, Rhode Island, New Mexico, Illinois, Alabama, Florida and will be moving to New Jersey, Summer of 2025.

I began my journey as a vacation designer in October of 2015. After traveling to several countries in Europe and having a lifelong love of Disney, I was excited to have the opportunity to plan trips for others. After working in a bridal shop in my late teens and early 20’s, I’ve found that I now enjoy planning Destination weddings and vow renewals.  I also love working with military families and helping them find affordable travel to help strengthen family bonds. Julie was great in helping me book some trips to Disney World and Universal. She was also great in helping me cancel a couple trips due to Covid (sad we had to cancel, but she was awesome and handled all the canceling hotels/Disney run registration/etc). We’re a military family, and Julie also helps us get the best hotel rates (with military discounts, or whatever offer works).
