About Lauren
Lauren Byers began her career as a vacation designer in 2014 after the birth of her son. Travel has long been one of her passions and staying home to raise a family has been one of her greatest desires. Becoming a part of Joyful Journeys allowed her to fulfill both of these longings in her life.
Lauren lives in Lula, GA with her husband Jimmy, son James, and daughter AnnMarie. Lauren is a graduate from North Georgia College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing. Before beginning her career as a travel designer, she worked in the wedding industry and also managed motorcoach charters for a well-known transportation company. Lauren enjoys being a work from home mom more than she ever imagined!
Walt Disney World is her family’s favorite vacation destination and they travel there as often as they can. Lauren and Jimmy also look forward to their annual all-inclusive couple getaways at Sandals Resorts.
Lauren finds joy in helping couples find the perfect destination for their honeymoon, anniversary or just a fun getaway; and she feels that customizing a unique Disney or Universal vacation that fits each family’s needs is just as much fun as traveling there herself. Lauren’s ultimate goal is to make her clients’ vacations as stress-free and fun as possible. Creating a backdrop for memories that will last a lifetime is her desire with each and every client who chooses to trust Lauren with their vacation planning.
