About Marilyn

Marilyn Coats began working with Joyful Journeys as a vacation designer in 2015 and has helped many families travel all over and make many wonderful memories since that time. She has a desire to travel and enjoys helping others make their travel dreams come true.

Outside of work, Marilyn has been married to Dr. Johnnie Coats for 18 years. They have 2 amazing sons and 1 amazing daughter: Braxton, Braeden, and Madilyn. Marilyn is also an educator and teaches 6th grade English Language Arts in a local school district. Marilyn’s entire family loves all things Disney so that makes traveling even better!

Marilyn loves to plan amazing vacations to all Disney destinations, Universal Orlando, and aboard the world’s best cruise ships. She would love to assist you with your next dream vacation!
